Faltbarer Automatikschirm – PF114

I love this umbrella. It opens and closes with ease and its width is large enough to accommodate two people. I highly recommend it.

The real test will be when I have to use it during one of Perth's apocalyptic storms. Which have previously destroyed to other umbrellas - one was flipped inside out, terminally. The other copped a gust that bent the shaft. I'm not kidding.
So far my new Luxbrellas PF114 has done well, though, keeping me dry in both Perth and Melbourne. The cover is generous indeed, and the open/shut button works every time.

I purchased the Luxbrella Umbrella PF114 for my husband, as part of his Christmas present. Having researched Google, Luxbrellas came up as one of their recommended Luxury umbrellas. Previous umbrellas had ended up blown inside out with spikes torn away from the material, so I wanted to get my husband an umbrella strong enough to withhold the strength of East Coast winds. I needed two aspects in such an umbrella, function and elegance. The extra-wide wingspan provided a wider width, consequent, I assume, to the work of Luxumbrella's design team, but it was the elegance of the wooden handle that really caught my eye. It is absolutely gorgeous, sturdy, and really sets it apart, in style, from other umbrellas. I would highly recommend this umbrella for both elegant form and function.

The poor quality of many collapsible umbrellas--auto-opening and auto-opening-and-closing--has left me frustrated and, at times, soaked. Price is not a particular concern, but durability and reliability are. I'm impressed by the PF114 I recently purchased as a replacement for a similar umbrella whose latching mechanism spontaneously broke. The PF144 is a substantial umbrella and wider when open than many similar umbrellas. It looks good. It has heft. It's auto open and close features are efficient and sturdy. I strongly prefer an umbrella with a crook handle, which makes carrying it closed more convenient when walking long distances. I find that carrying a crook-handle umbrella in the rain far easier than the plain stick found on many collapsible umbrellas. I look forward to trying my PF114 in the rain. I fully expect that it will serve me well.
